We would like to introduce you to some of our caregivers. KITTY in NY has selected over the years some outstanding people who have one thing in common: they LOVE cats!
Both Andy and I grew up surrounded by cats. Andy (from Philadelphia) is the youngest of 4 siblings and has lived with cats since he was a baby. I grew up with 3 sisters in Norway and had up to 5 cats at a time. We helped care for and clean up after our cats and have fond memories of all of the cats in our lives. Our home in Coopersburg, PA is the dream location for a cat long vacation. We always spoke about bringing cats into our lives when we get settled. We might get cats of our own down the road, but right now helping out with temporary stays is perfect for us!

Miriam and her family took such great care of our two cats and we are so grateful. She let them take their time settling in and then let them really immerse with her family. We could tell from photos she sent that they were completely at ease and enjoying their temporary home. We will absolutely use this service - hopefully Miriam - again, should the need arise. Miriam and her family were extremely welcoming and attentive to Alihaji and our needs. I can be a bit of an overbearing cat parent, but When I explained and labeled all of his food and his particularities Miriam was very supportive and understood my concerns and took my request in stride, without ever making me feel like I was what I was asking was to much.
Miriam and Andy also provided very timely updates that were accompanied with videos and photos. The atmosphere they cultivated allowed Alihaji to feel safe and comfortable to come out and explore the family and the environment. I initially thought he would hide under the couch for at least 3 days, so I was pleasantly surprised when Miriam informed me he had made an appearance a day after his arrival. For me, that stands as a testament to how caring they are, and how much they love cats.
I would definitely love to have them care for Alihaji in the future

Miriam & Andy were very welcoming our cat Juno and sent photos and kept us up to speed almost daily. Thats' a great comfort when you leave your cat for 2 weeks and are far away.
It was clear that Juno was in good hands and she was very relaxed and felt comfortable with them.

Miriam and Andrew were very welcoming with Finn and did a great job communicating with us throughout his stay.

Miriam and Andrew were attentive to our cat's needs throughout his weekend stay. They emailed us twice with very well written descriptions of the cat's daily activities, as well as a video and photos of our cat to show that he had adjusted well to their place.
As to communications regarding drop off and pick up, Miriam and Andrew readily available via email to ensure seamless coordination. They provided an accurate and ample window of time for which they would be present, thereby relieving us of any undue stress in the event of city traffic.
Finally, our cat was content upon his arrival back home, and slept peacefully throughout the evening. Based on this and the above, we recommend Miriam and Andrew for future caregiving services.
