January is not one of our busiest months. Oscar has continued visiting cats albeit the snow storm! Please see below a selction of his best pics. All his kitty clients appreciate his visits: Cat sitting visits are a great way to take care of your cat if you leave the city for a few days or when your cat is very shy. Some of our clients count on us to visit their cats every month. Our standard visit is 30 minutes long. We make sure the feeding and litter box areas are kept clean and you will receive an update after each visit. Our cat sitters are all insured and bonded. Contact us with more details about your cat sitting service. We'll be glad to help you.

It’s a bittersweet moment when summer finally arrives to NYC. Let me explain: after such a long winter and the short rainy spring period people are longing to feel the heat. You see nature’s cycle, a burst of life shines in city parks and the more residential streets. But summer can be sticky and muggy, it can be uncomfortable and you never stop sweating. During the warmer weeks I enjoy going for long walks at dusk. Hearing TV sets through open windows. Seeing groups of children running around, enjoying the school break. This all brings back memories of my childhood, summer trips with my family and short stays at my grandmother’s house. On those summer evenings at grandma’s, she would tell me stories about my aunts and uncles, grandparents, cousins. Family anecdotes that sounded like a short tale, with nice characters and others who sounded scary, with a touch of craziness. I regret forgetting the details a long time ago but somehow the universe managed to make sure a woman in her sixties would be taking care of Ashbury, the gorgeous Persian cat, this summer in Bayridge, Brooklyn. Such a mysterious and perfect universe… Book now your cat boarding and cat sitting services for the summer months. Our caregivers are very busy during the warmer months. Your cat/s will enjoy the comfort and space in our caregiver’s apartments, where they would be the only pets. If you leave for a few days a professional cat sitter may visit your apartment to feed and take good care of your beloved felines. Contact Kitty in NY and explain more details about the service you need. We’ll be glad to help you.

Since 2011 we have become very popular and our Facebook page has over 3,500 likes. Our posts reach more and more users every day. We have expanded and social media is part of our everyday work tasks. We want our friends, clients and followers to enjoy cat pics and learn more about cats: their traits, personality, cat toys, tools and tips about their care. We are passionate about cats and want to know more about them every day. If you’re not a Facebook fan you can follow us on Tumblr, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn or Instagram. We want to thank all our fans and followers. Your interest and love of cats is the main reason why we enjoy feeding our social media content. It is fun to select the best pictures and topics of the posts. We continue to learn about our beloved feline pets. This blog is also part of our content. Each post is shared among the different platforms. Since we started writing the blog in 2014 we have published over 100 articles covering all topics: cats in literature, memories from cat owners and some of our caregivers, cat care, breeds, tips and one of our favorite sections: introducing caregivers to our clients. Some of our caregivers share a little about themselves and post a picture. This way our Kitty in NY community is growing bigger and spreading our passion:
