Hi my name is Delil. I’m of Kurdish descent and grew up in Germany. I’ve been in the city for almost 10 years being busy working as an actor and have from time to time taken care of many kitties for friends and families. I grew up with cats of my own and it’s hard to find someone who loves cats as much as I do. I’m flexible and punctual due to my German upbringing and live in the West Village. Cats in children's movies

Cats make part of the human universe and can be found in all life expressions. TV shows, movies and cartoons are full of cat characters. Some are close to the reality while others are mere inventions but most of them keep at least one of the traits that make cats so special.

Disney movies are full of cats. Disney's cats include Duchess from The Aristocats. The Aristocats is a film produced by Disney in the 70's. It was the last film supervised by Walt Disney himself, but he died before the release of the film. It was a box office succes at the time. The siamese couple in Lady and the Tramp have some of the best scenes of this classic romantic comedy. Cinderella's cat (Lucifer) has a main role in the classic fairy tale. Figaro is Gepetto's cat in Pinocchio, a tuxedo kitty who follows them around asking for attention.

Walt Disney himself loved all animals (as his movies reflect!):

Tom and Jerry: Tom is the gray/blue cat who has a love-hate relationship with Jerry Mouse. Tom and Jerry is an animated series created in the 1940's by Hanna and Joseph Barnbera. This animated series entertained children worldwide for decades.

Garfield is the fat, lazy and funny character who has become worldwide famous. He wants nothing more than sleep, eat lassagna and tormenting Odie (the dog). Garfield is a comic strip created by Jim Davis. Published since June 19, 1978, it chronicles the life of the title character. It was syndicated in roughly 2,580 newspapers and journals, and held the Guinness World Record for being the world's most widely syndicated comic strip.

Puss in Boots was discovered in the first Shrek. He got his own spin off movie: Puss in Boots. Those big green eyes and the vomit joke were what won the heart of all cat owners in the country. The Shrek franchise is produced by DreamWorks Animation. The series was a great financial success, being the 10th highest-grossing franchise of all time, and the highest-grossing animated franchise.

My name is Grace. I have owned and cared for cats just about all my life I am happy to say. This is the first time I am without a cat in my home, so I can happily take care of your baby (s)!

I live in a doorman, lovely building in midtown, West 40’s. I have been a pet sitter for 10 years and love it! Great people we have met! - Karina

Hello I'm Karina and have lived my whole life with cats but recently my 17 year old cat passed away. A neighbor suggested that perhaps I consider being a cat sitter and I found out about Kitty in NY.

I live in a lovely spacious two bedroom apartment in Marine Park, Brooklyn. I'm around all day because I work from home.

I have had cats my whole life. Our house is been so quiet since our Slate died. Since we travel a lot we understand that is hard to find a loving person to babysit. So before we decided to get another cat we thought we would open up our home to help others who have the same dilemma.

There's no doubt about the fact that we are cat people. Anyone can tell from our couch! Your kitty would have free roam of our apartment. I have experience with a diabetic cat and have training in medicine so they will be no problem if your kitty has special needs.
