We would like to introduce you to some of our caregivers. We have selected over the years some outstanding people who have one thing in common: they LOVE cats!
Lynn started working with us in 2013. She has since established long-term collaborations with many clients. All her clients rave about Lynn and send us positive feedback. Cats love to stay in her spacious 1 bedroom apartment, a clean and organized space full of light and adapted to cats: "Besides having a trinket-free home, I made a cat-friendly environment by cutting up an old yoga mat and placing the cushy, non-skid strips on top the bookcases, bureau, armoire, window ledges and other places a cat might leap up or down to. They treat my apartment like a gymnasium, which is fun for both of us."

Lynn is a public affairs writer and poet. She has lived in New York for 25 years and grew up all over the United States. Lynn always loved cats and had several of her own before she became a caregiver for KittyinNY. She grew up with a Siamese cat named Sue Chang and a tuxedo cat named Mittens, and as an adult lived with two rescue kitties, Jack Burns and Louise.

These guys are the best. I left my kitty with Lynn over in Prospect Heights when I traveled to Hawaii for two weeks. I swear my cat was happier when I came back than when I left! Lynn regularly sent me updates and photos, which was so nice and helpful. Her home was perfect for a kitty. Lots of fun surfaces for her to jump on and lots of toys. Plus, they are super, super affordable. I have vetted other boarding services and they were so insanely overpriced. I was happy to find Kitty in NY-- affordable, high quality care. Your kitty will be in the best hands imaginable. I hate traveling for extended periods of time because of my cat, but leaving her with Lynn made my trip that much more enjoyable.

Lynn! She is absolutely amazing. From the first email I could tell that my little girl was in the right hands and apartment. We went for a site visit to check out the space and it was a cat's paradise. She has so many fun areas for cats to explore and in an immaculate, safe and cheery environment. Lynn's calm demeanor and knowledge of cats quickly assured me that the only thing i had to worry about is whether or not my cat would want to return home with me. She sent many photos and updates every day which I really appreciated. She gave me some good tips for feeding and caring for her. I am so thrilled to know I have someone i can trust when I'm away.
