I have had pets of all sorts for all of my life and, always, I have had cats. I understand cats; they seem to match my nature. I resonate with their independence and understand and respect their signals. For the last five years, for the first time in my life, I have not had a cat of my own. I have, however, had plenty of cats in my life, as I have been cat/house sitting my way around the world. This has given me the opportunity to not only have some amazing travel experiences but also to get to know many different cats of various types and personalities. I especially remember Potu, a big white, muscular male who loved to sleep purring on my chest all night with his paw sweetly inserted in my cupped hand. Then there was Glimpsey, a beautiful Egyptian Maus. He was full of mischief and very personable until it was time for his breathing treatment, (He was asthmatic). Then he would hide in places that were very hard to find and required much patience and coaxing. I wish I had know then about the app with the sounds of different cats meowing. Now, I would just play those sounds and I bet he's be out in no time. Then, of course, there was Mr Gibbs, a British Shorthair. With his big head, and thick coat of hair, he would sit and stare at me with those big round, dark Shorthair eyes.....what a very particular, peculiar and endearing creature he was. It was like spending time with the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
I love cats and miss having cat energy in my life and I look forward to taking care of yours. I have a whole wall of windows with a nice wide sill, just the right size for a cat to stretch out and enjoy the warm afternoon sun. My space is clutter free and there are many soft snuggly kitty spots to be discovered. If a visiting cat wants to snuggle in a chair with me or curl up in my bed for the night I am more than happy to share. Now that I am retired I fill my life with the things I love: dance, photography, writing, reading and cats.

She was great... Sent me occasional photos of Lily along with reports..
She also has cat dishes and a litter box, so I just needed to bring the supplies and some toys, a scratching post, etc. I would highly recommend her to anyone..

Linda took good care of my cat. She was very friendly, caring and gentle. When I went to pick up my cat after two weeks of vacation, I could tell that she had developed a bond with Linda. I'll definitely request Linda the next time I go out of town.

Linda was very kind and warm. She kept me updated on how Simba was doing and enjoyed his company very much. She took wonderful photos and made sure he got all his medications on time. Hope she will be available to take care of him again in the near future.
