At KITTY in NY, we are proud to work with an exceptional group of caregivers who share one important quality: they truly LOVE cats. Over the years, we’ve carefully selected individuals who bring warmth, reliability, and compassion to every cat they meet. Today, we’d like to introduce you to Denny, one of our most dedicated boarding caregivers in Jamaica Estates, Queens.
I’m Denny Daniel, curator and founder of The Museum of Interesting Things. I’ve spent my life teaching both children and adults, which has given me a friendly, curious approach to the world—and to the wonderful pets I meet!
I work for myself, which means I’m home often and able to give your cat plenty of attention. My beloved rescue cat, Tristan, was my pride and joy—pampered and loved every single day. Over the years, I’ve also cared for countless cats belonging to friends, so I’m experienced with all kinds of feline personalities.
I live with my mother in a beautiful, clean, and spacious private home in Jamaica Estates, Queens. Here, your cat will enjoy the same level of care and affection that Tristan once did. I also have an apartment in the Village, where my museum resides, and I own a car—so I can even arrange pick-up and drop-off for your cat anywhere in the city.
I’m also a photographer and teacher, so expect picture-perfect updates—your cat will truly be the cat’s meow!
If you need to leave the city for an extended period, in-home boarding is the ideal solution. With me, your cat will be the only pet in the home, and you’ll receive regular updates throughout their stay.

Mercy is a very shy and anxious cat, and Denny was able to put her completely at ease by day 2 of her stay. She ate so well, she even gained a pound while there! We could not be happier with this great service!

Denny looked after our Logan for about a week. He was very welcoming, and gave Logan his own space to explore and decompress. Logan seemed comfortable almost right away! Denny was very communicative, and sent updates and pics almost every day we were away. It was great having peace of mind that our boy was well looked after. Pick-up was a breeze - Denny had Logan's water fountain and litter tray bagged up and ready to go when we arrived. He's also quite the character! It was a treat getting to know him.
