Hello, my name is Robin Dann. I have always loved animals as a kid. As an adult I had multiple cats of my own, mostly rescued strays. At the moment I do not own any pet but I do miss having them around! I have a cat-sitting experience and look forward to making it a regular part of my life. I live alone in a comfortable one-bedroom apartment, work part-time in a design studio and don’t go out much, so your pet will get lots of attention and play in your absence. Everything was great! Lucky is very skittish around other people, but when Xialen came to pick up the keys, he didn’t immediately bolt and it seemed like he recognized her!
I forgot to leave a list of instructions as I normally do and reached out to Xialen on the first day - but it was completely unnecessary. She did everything we discussed and dropped by before I realized I didn’t leave a note.
Xialen is intuitive, took great care to follow Lucky’s routine, and was even able to pick up and hold him on the last day while he purred, which doesn’t happen very often with guests! It’s obvious she works well with all types of cats and her pictures are truly amazing and look professional.

Ruxandra is an amazing caregiver. This was my second time working with her. The first time, she fed my cats in my home, the second time, I boarded my cats in her home. Both times, she was incredibly attentive, asked great questions, was extremely communicative and caring, and sent great photos on a regular basis. My cats are very particular and aren't used to strangers, and took to Ruxandra very quickly. She is clearly an animal whisperer and has kind, calm, energy. My name is Barbara and I can provide cat sitting services in Forest Hills, Queens. Throughout my adult life I have lived with a cat. Having recently lost my cat (who lived to be 16-1/2 years old), taking care of other people’s cats is a good way to continue to have them in my life. I am very sensitive to each particular cat’s personality and needs and will provide as much affection and attention as a cat indicates it wants.

I was born in Brooklyn but lived in San Francisco for 25 years. There, I worked as a Project Manager for a court-appointed Receiver/Bankruptcy Trustee and, following that, solely-owned a craft store. Since returning to New York City I worked in retail for 15 years at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Denny looked after our Logan for about a week. He was very welcoming, and gave Logan his own space to explore and decompress. Logan seemed comfortable almost right away! My boyfriend and I had Helen cat sit our two-year-old tabby siblings this summer when we went out of town for the weekend. I can't express how crazy we are about our cats -- they are our babies and we could never put a price on their well-being, safety, and happiness. Helen is incredible. She's very funny, kind, and warm, and knows just the right way to handle every type of cat personality. Our boy is a little piggy and tries to eat his sister's food, our girl hisses at strangers and hides. But she did everything right to make them as comfortable as possible. She sent sweet, detailed emails after her visits along with lots of photos that put us immediately at ease. From the pictures she send, you could clearly see that Pompi was well cared for, relaxed, and happy. Pia also went above and beyond her duties when Peej had trouble putting Pompi into her carrier before dropping her off.

Pia is excellent on all fronts. She is loving AND she is willing to pick up the litter and food at the Pet Central near her (I suspect because her building is unable to receive deliveries.) Also, she keeps bowls, a brush and toys (sometimes I am in a hurry and forget to pack everything I should) - she is just a kind and thoughtful person and has a caring spirit - I suspect this is true in all her endeavors.

I have a very anxious and scared cat because of his history of moving several times to different homes. I feel bad leaving Pi with the sitter to go on vacation but Theresa and John took care of him and made him feel comfortable. They follow through Pi's restricted diet because he's a bit overweight. Theresa would send daily pictures and updates which was nice. They went an extra mile to drop us off because of bad weather after I picked up Pi. I appreciated them taking care of Pi while I was away. Theresa and John are expert, kind, and wonderful cat sitters.
