Hi, my name is Chris. I'm a native New Yorker and lover of all animals. Growing up in Brooklyn we always had cats (usually two or more), Sammy the German Shepherd (so friendly kids on the block would ring our bell to ask if she could come out and play), a big fish tank, at times hamsters or gerbils, once a purple parakeet (until one of the cats got to it) and even a snake! As an adult I've always had at least one cat but usually two since I believe it's nice for them to have company when I'm not home. One of my favorite cats was a copper-colored Abyssinian named Maverick, Once he kept me company on a road trip to Florida, not in a carrier, he sat on pillow right next to me. Most recently I had Pepper and Mushroom, both from the time they were tiny kittens. I named him Mushroom because he was a totally white puff ball with crystal blue eyes. Pepper was a tuxedo, she was an affectionate talker with a big personality. They lived into their late teens but unfortunately I recently lost them both within a few months of each other.
Most of my career I've worked for small non-profit organizations as an administrative assistant, office manager, and event planner. I've volunteered at North Shore Animal League and worked at the Westminster Dog Show. However, I am currently in between jobs so am home all of the time and can spoil your cat with attention. I miss my cats, miss not having someone greet me at the door or to curl up with on my couch. And just like people, I know cats can have very different personalities. So whether a young playful active cat, or one who likes a lot of affection, or one who just wants to be left alone... I will be happy to welcome them into my home. In live in Chelsea in a nice size apartment. Your cat(s) are welcome to roam wherever they please. My living room gets tons of morning light, your cat will enjoy basking in the sun as if they are on their own vacation.

Christina was absolutely wonderful. Truly saved me so much stress and exceeded my expectations. I think my cat came home in a better mood than he’s ever been in at home!

Christina is one of the most caring and generous individuals we've ever met! We did a house visit before our trip and she was incredibly communicative, kind and clearly cares very deeply about all of the cats she watches. Our little one was so happy the entire time - spending time in the sun, playing w/ toys and generally just receiving and exchanging love.
Christina also took care of medications, feeding and was an all around joy to interact with while away. She took care to send photos and check in with us about our trip.
I would highly recommend Christina and am grateful for Kitty NY Services!

Cat sitter Christina was an absolute pleasure to work with and was a god send. We feel Christina went above and beyond to care and pamper our cat, particularly as our cat had just underwent surgery. We were scared and concerned in separating from our cat (as she was newly rescued and has not been getting along with our other cat). Christina was exceptionally supportive and put us at ease by providing us frequent updates on our cat through text and pictures. Christina made sure our girl also felt comfortable in a new environment, providing her with lot of one on one attention and TLC she needed. Christina also ensured our cat was given her medications. As a result, our cat has been able to heal well. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Christina is very attentive and very accommodating. I like her a lot!
She was very helpful and kind. She sent photos of my cat lounging and playing in her apartment and she went above and beyond her responsibility by both picking up and dropping off my cat—so appreciated!
