KITTY in NY has selected over the years some outstanding people who have one thing in common: they LOVE cats! Hi, I'm Erin, & I'm a huge cat fan! I've been lucky enough to spend more than 4 decades loving & being loved by cats in my home -- so much so that my family has joked for years that we run an old cats' home. Because with us, life is so good, they just want to live forever...14 is "young" in my book! My husband & I live in North Brooklyn with Tuna (The Big Tuna) & Mayo (The Lady McMayonnaise), who we adopted in 2015 & 2016, respectively. We don't consider ourselves cat "owners," but cat "concierges," because really? They own us. We're here to put food in bowls, make the laser dot dance, & provide the comfiest of laps for naps & chin scratchies. I speak fluent scaredy cat, especially since Mayo was rescued from the rough streets of Brooklyn, & I can easily de-escalate aggression, as Tuna's native language was hissing. I'm highly skilled at lasers, cat dancers, & fishing lines, & I'm basically certified at disseminating treats. And 2 of my great life-with-cats accomplishments are teaching a former cat boss to use the toilet, and teaching Tuna how to "speak" to us, by pressing buttons. Because if you're willing to listen, every cat will tell you what they want. That's why I approach every cat I meet with patience, empathy...& song. When you leave the city for a few days, cat sitting visits is the best solution. The caregiver will come to your apartment and make sure your kitty has fresh food and water, clean bowls and litter and spend time with her/him. You will receive an update after every visit. Contact us and send more details about your cat/s and the service you need, we'll be glad to help you find the best solution for your beloved feline/s.

You've seen the paw waving cats in Asian restaurants and Chinese stores. There is a Fortune Cat in every Chinese or Japanese restaurant, Asian supermarket or Chinatown business. You'll never miss one of these figurines by the cash register.
Fortune Cats are lucky charms that are believed to attract good luck and prosperity to its owners. This is the reason why they are so abundant in any kind of business. The Japanese name is Maneki Neko which translates as Beckoning Cat. The raised paw means they're waving positive things to its owners. Other names re Lucky Cat, Welcome Cat or Money Cat. These cats originated during the Edo period in Japan (17th to 19th century). The period was characterized by economic growth, strict social order, isolationist foreign policies and popular enjoyment of arts and culture. There are a few legend explaining the origin of the Maneki Neko: A geisha had a cat. One day, the cat was running around and owner of the brothel thought the cat was possessed, so he sliced off its head with a sword. The flying cat head landed on a snake about to strike and saved the geisha. The geisha was so saddened by the loss of her pet that one of her customers made a statue of the cat to cheer her up. A rich man took shelter from a rainstorm under a tree close to a temple. He noticed a cat that seemed to be beckoning to him, so he followed it inside the temple. A lightning struck the tree he had been standing under. Because the cat had saved his life, the man was so grateful, he became a benefactor of the temple and made donations. When he passed away, a statue of the cat was made in is honor. There are different meanings attached to the features of each Manike Neko. If the left paw is raised it attracts new clients. If the right paw is raised, this invites good fortune and money. You can also find Fortune Cats with both paws raised. Depending on the color of the cat you can get different kinds of good luck:
We would like to introduce you to some of our caregivers. KITTY in NY has selected over the years some outstanding people who have one thing in common: they LOVE cats! A native of Romania, I lived in Belgium for a number of years before coming to the US. I now very much enjoy life in New York City, and this is home. As a licensed Real Estate professional I often work from home, and have a flexible schedule. My one bedroom apartment, located in East Harlem (111th Street), has the space and ambience for your kitty to play. Since I have a backyard with trees your kitty can enjoy watching the birds and squirrels from the window. Presley was 7 year old when he adopted me. He was chuck-full of personality. When I sat in a chair he’d jump in my lap. He constantly followed me around the house, slept in bed with me, and showed his discontent when I was going out. A very playful fellow he loved having his belly rubbed. He lived to be 14 years old and I miss him to this day. My friend has a new kitty, just 6 months old. She gets very excited when I visit, jumps around and plays with everything that moves, chews on my fingers…ah, so adorable. Laura provides cat sitting visits in the Upper East Side and East Harlem. Laura is the perfect option. Cat sitting is a great option for short term services or a very shy cat. She will take care of you cat/s until you return. Laura was very attentive to our cat and took great care of her. Wassila - by survey 09/03/2022 * * * * * Laura LOVES cats and took really good care of our cat Obi. She didn't simply feed him, change his water and cleaned his litter. We were away for 2 weeks and Laura sent us daily updates with pics and videos of Obi playing with her, or doing the cat's thing; hanging out oblivious to human presence:) He obviously was in good hands. Laura understood Obi's routine immediately and went along with it . First eat, then play, then hang out, then little trip to the kitchen to check if by any miracle there was more food:) I highly recommend Laura. She will take good care of your furry friend. It’s altogether too easy to walk into a shelter or pet store, fall in love with a cuddly kitten and bring home a bundle of fur. But, that sense of joy can quickly turn into a nightmare if you’re not adequately prepared for pet ownership. Without the proper planning, home preparations, and knowledge, you won’t be able to provide your new pet with the safe, appropriate home it deserves. You might even regret an otherwise good decision had you been more prepared. 1. If You Don’t Do Your Homework, You Could End Up with the Wrong Pet How could a pet be the wrong one? Well, for example, if you adopt a long-haired cat and have allergies, you could be miserable in a matter of minutes. Doing your homework to determine the right breed of cat for you is essential to having a long, happy relationship with your first pet. Thankfully, MSN has curated a list of the best and worst cat breeds for people with allergies. Persian cats, Maine Coon cats, black cats, and Norwegian Forest cats are on the list to avoid. On the other hand, Sphynx cats, Siberian cats, Cornish Rex cats, Russian Blue cats, and Balinese cats are considered more hypoallergenic. If you are not allergic to cats, you should consider characteristics of the animal you intend to adopt before taking the plunge. For example, kittens need a lot of attention and time to play, whereas older cats tend to be more solitary and low maintenance. If you’re planning on adopting an elderly cat, here are some useful tips on modifying your home for older pets. 2. If You Don’t Prepare Your Home, Your Pet Won’t Be Safe You may have friends who spent weeks baby-proofing their homes when their infants began rolling over and crawling. In reality, pet-proofing your home is just as important for the safety and well-being of your new four-legged baby. Even if you are adopting a more mature animal, you should prepare your home for his arrival with time to spare. Some of the best practices for pet-proofing your home include
3. If You Don’t Consider How to Acclimate Your New Pet to Your Home, It Won’t Feel Comfortable Of course, you’ll want to play with your pet and get acquainted as soon as you bring it home. But, your pet will need time to adjust to its new surroundings, and you need to help it through the transition. This is especially true if you have adopted a rescue animal who may have been abused or in a shelter for quite some time. One of the best ways to help your pet feel at home is to give them their own space. You should have a cat bed, toys, and scratch posts or boxes in a dedicated space. You also should keep its food and water in the same place. If your cat needs a hiding place, make a cage available to it, and allow them to remain in their cage when guests visit, especially if a dog is a potential guest. 4. Make Sure Owning a Pet Won’t Be a Financial Hardship The idea of a fast friendship with a new pet can easily overshadow the importance of assessing your ability to afford this pet. Do the math first. Can you afford food, toys, vaccinations, and random visits to the vet? If the answer is no, you should forgo getting an animal that you might have to give up. If the answer is yes, then you are in the perfect position to welcome a new cat into your home. Becoming a first-time pet owner will be more enjoyable for you and your new cat if you do your homework first, prepare your home, and take steps to acclimate it to your home. This sets the stage for the friendship of a lifetime. Author Ms. Brody created OurBestFriends to offer a place for animal lovers to share their favorite pet photos and stories about their furry pals. Matt happened to be a young guy, on his late 30’s. He limped a little bit, as if he had had an accident and was still recovering. One of his eyes was slightly closed (as if he was always winking an eye). His tone was very soft and soothing. He was going away for the holidays, visiting his girlfriend’s family in Paris. That is why they couldn't take their cat Sisi with them. Sisi and Matt had a common trait: their striking blue eyes. Sisi was an inquisitive and talkative Siamese. Her constant low tone meowing accompanied her all day long, as if she was holding a conversation with herself. She was athletic and thin. I soon found her sleeping on top of the fridge or high on the kitchen cabinets. She ignored me all day. We inhabited the same space but in parallel dimensions. Anyway, we were destined to share that Christmas season. It was not a sad or melancholic period. After my childhood I never cared for Christmas. The brotherly love and cheer of the season did not correspond to what I saw around me every day. I wasn’t into Christmas shopping and decorations. When I was a young woman I was convinced no dress or make up would help me look better, I thought my body was hideous. This yearly invasion of red, green and snow marked the beginning of long winter. On Christmas eve, Sisi had a can of Fancy Feast (flaked grilled salmon) and I heated a can of Campbell Chicken Soup. It was a quiet Christmas eve, just the two of us. Mrs Pearl and Sisi, my siamese kitty guest.. After having dinner we both moved in silence to the living room were Sisi took a nap and I watched cheap Christmas flicks on channel 31. Merry Christmas! Kitty in NY is fully booked for Christmas week. We wish all our clients, followers and cat people a merry Christmas. We will continue providing in-home boarding and cat sitting services in 2016.
If you're looking for a calm cat like a Persian but easy to care for, look no further, the Exotic Shorthair is what you've been looking for. Their shedding is minimal but they still have a silky, plush and luxurious coat. A breed with barely 50 years of history, the Exotic can be described as a short-haired Persian. American Shorthair breeders bred to Persians to obtain new coat colors and green eyes. The kittens were so pretty to look at, just like Persians but with a short, dense plush coat. Very fast they have become a popular breed and there are many reasons to explain this popularity. The Exotic Shorthair is easy-going and affectionate, a gentle cat who rarely meows. They will follow you from room to room and demand attention. They get close to their humans! Exotic Shorthair cats enjoy simple pleasures. They can play with a paper ball and will happily curl up on your lap while you read or use your computer. They don't need much space, which makes them ideal for an apartment, a true companion pet. Exotic Shorthair cats meet every standard for the Persian breed except for the coat. The Exotic does not require daily combing, a weekly combing is recommended to avoid hairballs. It is a fairly short cat, a round and muscular physique with lines softened by the thick/dense coat. Their coat comes in every color and pattern. Their faces are identical to the Persians, short and broad with a flattened muzzle. The Exotic retains a kittenish look all their life, with big round eyes, small ears and short nose. Their irresistable looks along with their ease of grooming and their easy-going personality make the Exotic the perfect pet.

We would like to introduce you to some of our caregivers. KITTY in NY has selected over the years some outstanding people who have one thing in common: they LOVE cats! For over 40 years I have had the wonderful experience of having my loving kitties. At this juncture of my life, which includes retirement from The Board of Education of New York, I would just like to care for other people’s cats since I can’t handle the heartbreak again. Baraka got comfortable with her very fast. Amber catered to all my cat’s needs, responded to my texts, and shared lots of photos which showed me that my cat was playing, resting, felt comfortable with Amber and enjoyed her stay. Thank you so much. Happy Holidays! We would like to introduce you to some of our caregivers. KITTY in NY has selected over the years some outstanding people who have one thing in common: they LOVE cats! My name is Caroline, and I am a lifelong cat lover! I grew up with multiple cats, have been a frequent cat sitter my whole life, and have been told I’m a cat whisperer to even the shyest of kitties. I am a New York City transplant who moved here from California, and I miss my family’s cats dearly (one 18-year-old, wise old man, who needs some special care and all the love in the world, and one playful and snuggly 8-year-old, who is still a little kitten in my heart)! I can’t have cats in my current apartment, but my work is freelance and flexible, which lets me reliably visit your furry friends in their home environment, where they are most comfortable. I love helping other cat owners feel at ease when they are going away for vacation, knowing their furry loved ones will be in loving, caring, and capable hands. I know firsthand how stressful it is to leave your dear kitties when you are going out of town, and how comforting it is to have a sitter you can trust who is very responsible, attentive to detail, and communicative while they are looking after your cats. I would be honored to be that person for you! I look forward to caring for and bonding with your cats, and keeping you updated on how they are doing. Every cat is different, so I look forward to getting to know your cat’s individual personality, and taking purrfect care of them! Caroline will enjoy taking care of your beloved feline/s. Contact us and send more details about your cat/s and the service you need, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
____________________________________________________ REVIEWS Stuart - by survey 11/25/2023 * * * * * We are huge fans and while Barry has always been great, Caroline was also fantastic! Karin - by survey 04/29/2022 * * * * * Caroline was extremely thorough in reviewing all of the details of our kitties needs and was extremely professional while being friendly, warm, and caring with the cats upon meeting them. She was diligent in sending daily updates and pictures and, considering this was the first time we had left all four of our kitty family members alone for such an extensive time period, Caroline's professionalism and obvious love for and knowledge of cats calmed us tremendously, allowing us to enjoy our vacation. Several years ago, I was at a Thanksgiving celebration with my relatives. Most of the food had made it onto the dining room table, but for some reason all of the people were still in the kitchen or in the living room. We migrated en masse to the dining room and found the cat on the table. He was helping himself to the gravy. It was obvious that everyone present was a cat lover. Several photos were taken before the cat was removed from the table. And we still ate the gravy. If my pal Buster were allowed unfettered access to a laden Thanksgiving table I can only imagine the decimation that would occur to the dinner and the dog. Fortunately, cats aren’t as prone to extreme gluttony and subsequent pancreatitis and bloat. However, cat parents might be wondering which Thanksgiving foods are safe to share with cats — and which foods they should avoid. Thanksgiving Foods and Cats — Some General Advice Your cat shouldn’t be up on your Thanksgiving table, but if you want to share some of your Turkey Day feast, here’s what foods are safe for her to eat. First, remember that any cat might have specific food intolerances or allergies. So even if something is generally safe for cats, it might not be safe for your cat. Second, remember that moderation is key. If you allow your cat to feast at Thanksgiving to the extent that I do, then your cat, like me, will probably feel ill after the dinner. Unlike with me, however, that feeling of illness might progress to real illness. And some things, as will be outlined below, might be mildly toxic to cats and therefore should be minimized. Let’s look at specific Thanksgiving foods that are safe for cats: Can Cats Eat Thanksgiving Turkey? Yes. This staple of Thanksgiving happens to be completely edible and delicious for felines. Skinless white meat is most benign, but most cats can handle dark meat or a bit of skin and giblets as well. I remember as a child my father would give a hearty helping of skin, fat, and giblets to the cat every Thanksgiving. I was worried that it could cause heart disease in the cat. I had not yet learned that fat and cholesterol do not contribute significantly to heart disease in cats, and possibly not in humans either. However, the fattier parts of the turkey are more likely to cause upset stomach, so go easy. Can Cats Eat Gravy? The cat I mentioned above suffered no adverse consequences from his gravy lapping. However, remember that gravy is fatty and salty. Moderation is key, and the salt could cause problems for cats with pre-existing heart conditions. Can Cats Eat Mashed Potatoes? I like to make my mashed potatoes with lots of garlic, onion, shallots, half-and-half and butter. It turns out that garlic, onions and shallots can cause Heinz body anemia in cats. And many cats are lactose intolerant, so the half-and-half could be a problem. However, garlic isn’t cyanide and half-and-half isn’t acetaminophen (which is massively toxic to cats). Most cats could survive a bite or two of my potatoes. And they certainly could tolerate milder, less rich mixtures. But I wouldn’t recommend serving up mashed potatoes to your cat. Can Cats Eat Stuffing? Again, garlic and onions could be a problem. And the bread laden with delicious turkey grease might cause gastrointestinal issues. It’s best to keep your cat out of the stuffing. Can Cats Eat Green Bean Casserole? The green beans are no problem, but the canned onions are. This is a no-no for cats. Can Cats Eat Cranberry Sauce? Although it’s certainly not a part of a cat’s natural diet, it’s not toxic either. I learned in vet school that cats supposedly are not attracted to sweet items or tart items. My experience, however, has been different. I’m sure that some cats love cranberry sauce. Fortunately I doubt that any problems will occur if your cat breaks into yours, unless it’s so loaded with brandy that the cat gets drunk. Can Cats Eat Rolls and Breads? Plain rolls and bread should not be a problem. Garlic bread, on the other hand, introduces a risk of Heinz body anemia. A Final Word of Caution on All Thanksgiving Foods for Cats: For the record, I am not advocating that cat owners pile heaping dishes of Thanksgiving food for their cats. In fact, really the only food that I can unhesitatingly recommend for most cats is skinless turkey breast. But if your cat drinks a bit of gravy, or licks a bit of cranberry sauce, or noshes on a roll or digs into the lime Jell-O, you probably don’t need to be worried. Also, remember not to feel too sorry for your cat when you do not share your delicious Thanksgiving meal with her. She already no doubt has plenty for which to be thankful. KITTY in NY has selected over the years some outstanding people who have one thing in common: they LOVE cats! I had my first kitty in college and my second while living in San Francisco. Returning to New York, I lived for years in a building where I could not have any pets. So when I moved to my current location, in Manhattan's East Village, I made up for lost time. That was way, way back in 1992. I contacted an animal rescue agency named BeingKind. (That was the precursor to KittyKind in Petco.) Soon I took in a family of six abandoned cats from BeingKind. I included an old scratched photo, taken before the days of cell phones and similar devices. The momma and poppa cats were about a year and a half old. Teenagers in Love I called them. The four kittens were six weeks old and just learning to walk. They were about the size of my hand (not counting the tails). I eventually adopted out two kitties and kept four felines to myself. They all lived exceedingly long lives, so I must have been doing something right. The momma cat lived to 18 years of age, the poppa and one daughter both lived to 19, and the final daughter lived very close to 21 (about 20 years and 9 months). After the family went to Kittie Heaven, I took a break from being a caretaker. That ended in about nine months. One night I went dancing at Barefoot Boogie (highly recommended) and met someone who worked for Kitty in New York. That marked the beginning of the next phase of my love for felines, as I soon became an Official Kitty Caregiver. I can now offer lots of love, a spacious one bedroom apartment, and decades of experience for my feline friends. I am able to give injections, pills, subcutaneous fluids, and blood glucose monitoring for cats with medical needs. I am now partly retired but work about 20 hours a week as a psychotherapist. This allows me the luxury to spend lots of time with my four-legged friends. As you might guess, I love to write so I enjoy sending frequent emails or texts plus loads of photos to cat owners. This allows the owners to enjoy their vacations or business trips, knowing that their kitties are happy and doing well. ____________________________________________________ REVIEWS Lisa - by survey 11/17/2023 * * * * This was such a great experience! My cat has to take 2 pills/day, eye ointment in one eye and eye drops in the other. The schedule for administrating the meds is intense with the ointment being 3x day. Phil administered all the meds with ease and on time! Spike the cat was super comfortable with Phil and was sleeping with him by day 3. I received email updates with pictures of Spike every few days, and very much enjoyed Phil’s writing style. Lena - by survey 10/03/2023 * * * * Phil was absolutely fantastic. He is very knowledgeable about cats and truly cares about them. My cat is rather nervous and demanding and I was worried about leaving her with a stranger. I didn't have to. Phil's kindness, patience as well as deep understanding of cats' needs and behavior won her over and she had a good time with him. Phil regularly sent me detailed updates and pictures. I'm so glad I found Phil and will definitely trust him with my precious little princess whenever I have to travel. Megan - by survey 06/07/2023 * * * * Phil is amazing and took such good care of our cats over the trial weekend. We're looking forward to our first vacation together in 3 years because we trust Phil to take good care of our old boys. Romina - by survey 05/17/2022 * * * * I booked with Phil the second time in two years and I am always amazed how much of a "cat whisperer" he is. You can tell the cats are calm around him. He took care of all three of mine this time around and I particularly appreciated the loving care he gave to my eldest who needs regular medication. In addition Phil was extremely reliable with his email and photo communication. He also was dependable in terms of pick up and drop off arrangements and very helpful in both directions. I felt confident knowing my cats were in good hands! Sarah - by survey 9/19/2021 * * * * Phil was great! It was clear he had lots of experience with cats and that my cat was very happy when I was away for a week. He sent email updates with pictures and cute stories about what my cat was up to, and he was very attentive. Etienne - by survey * * * * Phil was fantastic. Very kind, I could feel right away that he loves cat and is able to create a good and calm environment for them to feel at ease. The minute we dropped our cat at Phil's apartment, she felt secured and not stressed and the stay went very smoothly. Phil did great at sending us pictures and updates every few days, so we knew everything was going well. Thank you! Lily - by survey * * * * Phil was very pleasant and kind to my cat Momo upon meeting him. He sent in-depth emails of Momo's daily life while I was away, along with photos, which eased my mind about uprooting my kitty. As a seasoned cat sitter he had scratchers and toys available, and didn't mind my young cat's curious, and sometimes frenetic, demeanor. I was very glad for Momo to have companionship while I was gone. This is my second time using Kitty In NY, and although I was paired with a different sitter each time, both experiences have been positive. The office staff is also very professional, prompt, and easy to communicate with. They helped me right away even though my planning was relatively short notice. Shauna - by survey * * * * Phil was a wonderful caregiver to our elderly cat. He was kind and loving and very attentive to our kitty’s very picky demands, and kept us informed about how things were going with funny emails and photos. Any kitty would be lucky to have a stay in Phil’s kitty hotel. Elisabeth - by survey * * * * Phil took care of my cat Miumiu who has a chronic illness and requires medication + visits to the vet. He was extraordinary with him and took excellent care of my cat. I suspect my cat wanted to stay longer at Phil’s actually!!! Ahah. Phil has a kind heart and is a loving and humorous kitty caregiver. He sent us regular news via lovely emails + pictures of Miumiu. I really recommend Phil as a caregiver! Romika - by survey * * * * * Phil was an excellent, reliable cat-caregiver from the beginning to the end of this entire process. The drop-off and pickup went smoothly and during the weeks I was away on vacation, Phil stayed in touch with plenty of great information about how my two cats were doing at his place, as well as pictures. During the course of the time my cats were with him, he encountered some problems with his Verizon service, and I was impressed that he called me by phone right away to let me know so that we could work around it. Phil was able to give one of my cats the medicine he needed as well. Now that they are back home, it seems that they are even more at ease than before visiting with Phil. Highly recommend! Kelly - by survey * * * * * Phil took great care of my boy Vincent. He sent pictures and email updates several times also which was great! Phway - by survey * * * * * Phil was amazing! I'm so happy to have had him look after Del. It was very obvious he adored kitties, and was so caring and loving to Del. He looked after him incredibly well, was very easy going, and always updating with funny, entertaining stories of his time with him. Phil even went out of his way to help me with the purchase of a pet travel crate, and assembled it while I was gone, so that Del could get used to it before his travels. Phil followed all the instructions and had no trouble at all with adapting to Del's special needs like cleaning his ears and having warmer spaces for him to curl up into (as he's a Sphynx cat and gets chilly). All to say, I would recommend him highly to anyone! Claudia - by survey * * * * * Phil was amazing! I like him better than a previous sitter I used with KittyInNY. The moment I walked in to see Blue you can tell he had a great time and felt extremely comfortable. Phil also seemed to be very loving and affection. He would send daily emails and pictures. All in all, I was very pleased with his service. Georgiana - by survey * * * * * Phil was extremely welcoming to our cat and played with him. He gave very detailed and humorous updates by e-mail. He also went out of his way to help us when we encountered some difficulties with our return flight. Our cat returned in a very good mood, no doubt thanks to enjoying his stay with Phil. Laura - by survey * * * * * Phil was great! My cats loved him and were at home right away. Phil was very responsive and communicative and sent lots of updates and photos of my cats during their stay. Zoe - by survey * * * * * Phil regularly wrote really lovely messages about Blueberry and what she was up to. His pictures were great and overall his communications were thorough, clear, and kind. He cares a great deal about cats and I trusted that Blueberry was in good hands while I was away. Anna - by survey * * * * * Deli stayed with him for almost 3 months and I got updates on him, with pictures, pretty much every week. Anytime his food would be close to over, we were able to organize so that the website Chewy would deliver more. Deli seemed to love his stay, and reluctantly got into his carrier when we left. I would definitely recommend Phil to care for cats as he is very dedicated, caring, and keeps me updated with anything, plus pictures! Ana * * * * * Phil was so nice and caring with my baby! Sent me updates and pictures of him which I really appreciated. He was very attentive and my cat seemed to really enjoy his time with him. Stefanie * * * * * Phil was very responsive to any emails I sent him and was extremely attentive with his updates. He sent photos regularly along with great stories of how the kitties were doing. I got a sense that he truly cares for felines. Just after the first few interactions with him, I was immediately at ease, as I knew my fur babies were in caring hands. Devon * * * * * Phil was so thorough with his emails detailing the status of our kitties while we were away. He’d send cute photos with his emails too. I’m Denny Daniel and I am curator and founder of The Museum of Interesting Things. I teach kids and adults and so have a friendly curious attitude and get along with people as well as pets! I work for myself so I am home a lot. My last cat Tristan was a rescue and I loved him more than anything and he was pampered and sweet. I live with my mother in a beautiful clean large private house in Jamaica Estates Queens so your cat will also be pampered like my dear Tristan was. I also have an apt in the Village where the Museum resides and own a car so I can also pick up and drop off your cat from anywhere. I love driving. I am a photographer and teach so your cat pics will be the cat’s meow! If you have to leave the city for a long period of time in-home boarding is the best solution.
