My name is Barbara and I can provide cat boarding on the upper west side in Manhattan. Throughout my adult life I have lived with a cat. Having recently lost my cat (who lived to be 16-1/2 years old), boarding other people’s cats is a good way to continue to have them in my life. I am very sensitive to each particular cat’s personality and needs and will provide as much affection and attention as a cat indicates it wants.
I was born in Brooklyn but lived in San Francisco for 25 years. There, I worked as a Project Manager for a court-appointed Receiver/Bankruptcy Trustee and, following that, solely-owned a craft store. Since returning to New York City I worked in retail for 15 years at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
My one-bedroom apartment has great windows that cats can access and good space for cats to run around. I am retired and would be home much of each day. I would be happy to provide additional information about myself should you wish.
